So why am I telling you all this? It is because, after 19 years selling the back end hardware for digital projection, I'd finally arrived at the most important piece of the digital projection chain the viewer interface. Suddenly I realized that the investment people made in all that cool, hi-tech hardware was limited by the performance of the projection display. It was all about communicating with your audience and that, to us, meant more than just throwing up a white matte screen. What a shock! How could anything without a chip in it be hi-tech. And so TRaC Associates emerged as a Specialty Projection Display company. I wanted to offer customers unique display solutions and, most importantly, advice and consultation based on my extensive digital projection background. I think we've done that. My philosophy is that if you take the time to call us, you might not end up buying from us, but you can be assured we will answer your questions and point you in the right direction. It's been a rewarding and exciting journey that brought me to TRaC Associates, LLC. Starting with Epson America in the early
computer days, I moved to LCD projection in 1989. I marketed
some of the first LCD panels with Dukane and moved to In Focus
Systems as its first National Sales Manager in 1990. I have
taken part in launching, marketing and selling the world's
first color LCD panel, the first LCD projector, and the first
sub-10 lb projector.
